Scenario: There is a server that seems operational (user can access the login page), but NinjaOne still shows it as offline. This can happen after a power outage or restart.

Solution:

  1. Connect to VPN. Establish a VPN connection using FortiClient (refer to AWE Google Drive for credentials).
  2. Remote Desktop Access. Access the server remotely using Remote Desktop Connection (credentials are also available in AWE Google Drive).
  3. Search for "Services" in the Windows Start menu.
  4. Locate "NinjaRMM Agent". Right-click on each service and choose "Start" or "Stop". If the service is already running, stop it first before starting it again.
  5. Then locate "NinjaRemote Supervisor." Right-click on each service and choose "Start" or "Stop". If the service is already running, stop it first before starting it again.
  6. After restarting the services, log in to the NinjaOne website and confirm that the device now shows as online.
